Australia Is Dangerous! Or is it?

The BBC has written an article in reaction to some recent incidents with the wildlife over there. Although Australia does indeed have a lot of dangerous creatures, plants and tides - I feel that you have to remember that the country is infact also an entire continent surrounded by water on all sides. I don't think it's particularly surprising that there is hot spots of danger in such a large area...
